This is a new bridge club for inexperienced players and improvers in Kingston on Thames. It consists of students who have completed the 1st year EBU course with me Clive Messenger and others wanting to play in a friendly environment. We have been running since Jan 2008.

It introduces you to duplicate bridge in a non-intimidating situation and helps put the theory into practice. Don’t expect the silence of a proper bridge club!

Location : Sept – April : Coombe Wood Tennis Club, Galsworthy Road, KT2 7BS, opposite Kingston Hospital main entrance. There is a sign and you drive down a very dark lane before you come to the car park.

May – Sept : The Norbiton and Dragon Hotel, Clifton Road, Kingston KT2 6PW, 50 yards from the roundabout at the foot of Kingston Hill (Total). Look for the upstairs function room.

Plenty of buses and both venues are 5 mins from Norbiton Station.

Sessions : each Thurs, 8 pm – 10.30,

Fees : tennis club members £1, guests £3,

You don't need to come with a partner as I will play if there is anyone unpaired. We usually have 4 or 5 tables. Licensed bar, tea and coffee.
